- Alfie is an (Amazing) Australian Labradoodle. His personality is affectionate, gregarious, fun-loving, and energetic...with a clownish, mischievous streak thrown in. He's very smart, always up for a challenge and dearly loves showing off.
For those of you who are members of the Dixie's Doodles group and are curious -- Alfie's from Chessy and Shadow's last litter, 10/2/09. He's a great dog!

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I didn't choose doodles...they chose me! (Well, sort of! ) I was a puppy raiser for a guide dog school in Texas when the puppy raising supervisor approached me about possibly raising a labradoodle. I was intrigued and thought it would be a fun new challenge. I've now fallen in love with these fun, amazingly smart, and sometimes quirky dogs. Although I still love the labs, goldens, and shepherds that I helped train in the past...there's just something special about labradoodles!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- I love going for long walks and jogs through the countryside with Alfie. He's great on the leash and a good companion. Of course...I love snuggling at home with him too! Alfie loves to learn, and my kids are always teaching him new tricks. Personally, my favorite new activity with Alfie is "trailing" -- following a scent trail. He loves it!

- Nope!

- Me!
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- The Andis AG2, 2-speed, super duty clipper. Love it!
