My family and I have a standard doodle, lavender color, named "Roux". He was dark chocolate when born, hence the name, but has faded to a beautiful lavender over tha last year. He is 1 1/2 ans has such a sweet personality and zest for life. My son totally tortures the poor thing and Roux just says "bring it on"!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We chose a doodle b/c we love the way they look but also b/c my son and I have allergies.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Play fetch and watch him play in the water with my son. He doesn't really like riding in the car...gets carsick, but we're trying to get him used to it. Anyone got any suggestions for that?
