I saw you mentioned the black spots in the post room.
I copied and am pasting my response to you here just to make sure you get it before it goes away.
Carole. Yes, lots of doodles have this. We have even had a few discussions with this mentioned. Do a search here on DK to find these old discussions. It may help you. My doodle has these black spots too. Certainly though, bring it up to the vet on your next visit

Carole I was reading your 'please help' discussion and thought I would offer another suggestion. The below link shows a list of veterinary internal medicine specialists. Based on my family's experience with my childhood dog I can say we'd strongly recommend a specialist. We went through a couple years of back and forth with our vet (who we really liked) but finally even she recommended seeing an internist. In theory you're at least working with someone with more extensive experience with tougher cases.
