Hey Charlene, thanks for just answering. I don't care how long it takes. I am very busy too. I know how it is. I held a very ill mother that passed last Christmas to Alzheimers so I can somewhat relate. She was not that far away though so it was a little easier. I am going to check out sit/stay.com sounds great. Thanks for the info. Have a great rest of the week.
Thanks, that is a good idea about the "In Training" vest. Where do I get that? I am glad and sorry at the same time to hear that there are other people in the same boat as me with my retirement savings. I have not worked nearly as long as you, but did have a pretty nice 401B. WELL, I lost over $3000 in just 2 months ( last of Sept. until the 1st. of Nov. ), not even 2 months. I was sick. I had been losing all year, but that was the worst. My Principal guy kept telling me to "hang in there", yea right, hang in there until my balance was 0. So I pulled all my money out of the diversified stock and put it all in low fixed. I know I am not gaining much, BUT I have not lost another cent since. Very very scary.

Awwww Charlene thanks for all your nice warm comments. My goal is to do therapy work with Lucy. I did take her in to the hosp. to see my dad a couple of weeks ago and she was perfect. She is not certified yet though. We have to do that. I don't see that she would have any trouble with the testing.
I just turned 62 and would love to retire now, but with the economy and a new president I am a little scared to make that step now. I hope to retire in a year. We want to snowbird to the Ruskin, Bradenton ( ?sp. ) area. I have a niece that lives in Ruskin and it looks really really nice there. We would like to be on the Gulf side. Any suggestions???????
Nope, no affiliation with Trinity Lutheran. It was a grand search through the caverns of my mind for an appropriate name. While I did wish to be spiritually significant, this choice popped into my head and revealed significance on MANY levels. These included that at the time we shared our home with 3 doodles, also that we were merging North American doodles of poodle and labrador lines with the Australian doodle.
We have a full house right now as well, 6 dogs and 11 puppies! It is a laugh a minute. It sounds like we should talk, Meredith can confirm that at our last meetup I was seeking any documented reports that might confirm some of the benefits I have observed first hand in terms of using doodles (or any dog for that matter) specifically with ADHD patients. I have some thoughts and it seems to be an uncovered area. Have you used your dogs in this capacity at all or do they mostly serve with therapy in other areas?
We sure are looking forward to meeting you at our next meetup and in the meantime will settle for a cyber doodle meetup! Stay warm!
Hi Charlene ~ welcome to doodlekisses! We are also located in the Orlando area, Winter Springs to be precise. There is a Central Florida Group here we would love to have you join, though it has been pretty inactive I am hopeful that we can direct more of our meetup group to this location. There are so many opportunities for interaction here and endless information. I hope to see you around, perhaps you may even consider joining us for a meetup sometime ~ we would love to have you.
