Hi Cheryl, I am new to Doodles also and would like to welcome you. If you are considering a Doodle please check and see if there are any rescue services near. We did our search and found Oliver at a no kill shelter, he was turned in for behavioral problems. All he needed was love, training and a yard. You may start with poodle rescue and go from there.
Good luck and whatever Doodle you get enjoy a character for sure.

You have come to the right place at the right time. You will find alot of information here and educate yourself prior to buying your furever friend. There is a "WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A BREEDER" article that is where you want to start. Any breeder who doesn't fulfill those recommendations is not a reputable breeder. Labradoodles are not to the point that they all look the same or have the same coats. The type of coat you want will be a big decision that will affect which breeders you want to focus on. Their are also the original Australian labradoodle that was developed in Australia under what has been investigated as a sophisticated scam, yet there are breeders who have used the original stock and have continued to breed the original Australian Labradoodle and have no issues with the controversy. You will need to make that decision on your own there are discussions regarding this here as well. There are also different types of Labradoodles depending on how they were bred. A poodle and a lab is a first generation, a poodle and a labradoodle is a F1B ect. You will want to decide what type you prefer. Ypu have come to the right place. There are groups you can join to discuss and learn just about anything you want to about doodles. There are no dumb questions to ask, you will find alot of support for everything. You will become extremely informed and respected for doing your research BEFORE you buy. Then all the fun stuff of sharing when you do get your doodle. Yes we all do seem doodle crazy, but also manage to live normal lives off line! Good Luck!
PS...She has puppies now available, and will be having red Goldendoodles in March. I'd love to have a little red doodle, but doubt I get another one!
