Hey Cindy, I am a long time breeder of Labradoodles out of North Carolina. Have you ever thought about doing an AI with fresh shipped semen? I also agree with Noble Vestal's comments about the required testing.
Cindy, I noticed you are looking for a stud and that your girl has been CERF'd but not OFA'd and that you plan to wait until she is 2 to finish this testing. I would not consider breeding her until her OFA has been completed, ethical breeders will not consider your bitch as a qualified candidate for breeding until then.
You should also consider the below tests before moving forward.
vWD- A bleeding disorder that is passed down by carrier parents, this only needs to be done once in the dogs life.
PRA- A disorder with the eyes causing blindness, again passed down by parents, this only needs to be done once in the dogs life.
OFA Hip & Elbows- Any time between 16 weeks and 2 years of age, may need repeating at 2 depending original test scores.
Thyroid- is done annually to screen for thyroid functions, puppies born to parents with thyroid issues could have serious if not life threatening illnesses caused by a thyroid disorder.
You will also need to show a pedigree to the stud owner. The pedigree needs to be AKC provable, meaning the Lab and Poodle parents and grandparents should have been registered with the AKC.
You should also have a contract from your original breeder (showing their contact details) that provide you with permission to breed the dog.
Again these are the things ethical breeders are looking for on your part. Customers will also want to see this data to insure the puppies weren't produced by a BYB.
