About Me:: I live with my husban, Todd, in Jonestown, PA. I work in Allentown at Lehigh Valley Hospital as a nurse educator for the Open Heart Unit and Transitional Open Heart Units. Todd works in Middletown at Lesher Marble and Granite as a business manager.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a 1 and a 1/2 year old Goldendoodle named Finnegan. We got him right before Thanksgiving and have been in love ever since!!

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We both wanted a big dog but I have trouble with my allergies around dogs that shed. A goldendoodle was the perfect dog for us!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Todd takes Finnegan out back of our house almost every day to play with some of the other dogs in the neighborhood. Finneys best friends are a 4 year old golden retreiver and a 2 year old black lab. They play ball for hours and love it.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: K-9 Kuts and Spaw, Williamsport, PA - Rhonda Koch

Favorite Doodle Products?: I got this 3 in 1 bamboo slicker brush that works well for Finnegan. It has a flea comb a fine toothed comb and the brush. If I see that Finnegan is shedding I brush him with that and problem solved!

Bad Day!

Just want to say today was a bad day at the groomer. We asked for the same length as last time and we picked him up and he was completely shaved! We were told it was a misunderstanding. Hopefully it grows back fast!

I noticed your "bad day at the groomer" photo right away because that is exactly what happened to my goldendoodle yesterday! My 9 year old laughed for about 10 min straight and my 5 year old thinks I switched his "puppy". I was so upset because Duke had the nicest hair, the groomer said there were some mats in his armpit and around the collar but they were small and didn't deserve such treatment! Could you let me know how long it took for your doodle's hair to grow back? I am in upstate NY and winter is coming fast, I think I better go shopping for a doggy coat!

I've used Petsmart before and even they never did anything that stupid. Poor puppy. I hope it grows fast.
