Holly - Lhasapoo - born in october 2006
Buddy - Labradoodle - born in october 2007

The way the names turned out was accidental, we actually had Holly first. Someone else had to point out the Buddy Holly connection. Buddy wasn't even his first name. It kind of evolved to that.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

My Mom chose a doodle because her heart broke when she found him online. He was "that doggy in the window" in a pet store for five months, then a young college girl bought him and his sister on a whim at that pet store. She fell in love with them on the spot. After a little over a week she and her roommates realized they couldn't do it and advertised him online. My Mom could not step away from her computer till she knew that dog would be safe in a a home of people that love dogs. I think she had it arranged within hours of finding the ad and we went and got him 36 hours later.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

My doodle is great at learning new tricks, so I love to teach him them. Only problem is his eagerness... he will go through all his tricks when I say: Buddy... Sit. He will sit, paw, beg, lay down, up and keep going.

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

The dogs are often groomed at the Vet

Favorite Doodle Products?

I have no idea!!! I am still looking for the perfect brush/comb, his hair on his head is very different from his body. He loves anything that is rubber or squeaks but quickly chews through it. Suggestions welcome!
