Born and raised in Sausalito, CA., recently moved from San Francisco. Now living in Portland, Oregon on a houseboat and work in sales working from home. Love anything to do with being outside, love to run, ski & snowboard, hike, wakeboard, walk, travel and spend quanlity time with my honey and his little girl. I forgot to mention I am huge wine connoisseur - growing up near Napa & Sonoma I learned a lot and tasted a lot. I have found a huge love with Pinot Noir so living in Oregon near the Williamette valley couldn't be more ideal!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Miniature "Cream" Poodle + English "Cream" Golden Retriever. My doodle is named Tahoe and he is a boy born September 19th 2008 (Tula and Micah's are his parents). He is super loveable, he has become my best friend and my companion. I am often home alone and Tahoe keeps me company and always makes me smile. The best part of my morning is waking Tahoe up and seeing him stretch, wag his tail and smile. Having a dog has made my life that much more rewarding as cheezy as that sounds. I don't have kids so for now he is my baby.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I am very active and love being outside. I am also allergic to the dander in dog hair (not cats as much). Our house is a perfect size for us but not huge so a regular size Golden or Lab would be too big + I couldn't deal w/ the dog hair shedding everywhere. I had seen doodles before and thought they were so beautiful and I loved the mix w/ the poodle b/c of the soft wavy hair and also being hypoallergenic. I grew up with a yellow lab and have always like both labs & goldens because they are so sweet, silly, playful, energetic, good with kids, love to run and be active and seem to always look like they are smiling. I looked up the poodles characteristics and found them also highly active and smart! I thought what a great mix a smart, loving, beautiful dog, let's go for it.

LOVE, love, love our "Buddy Wash" Lavender & Mint shampoo. It makes Tahoe smell soooo good and it does not irritate his skin. We love our chewy dried sweet potato slices for snacks and have found Innova puppy food to be outstanding.

Hi Darcy!! You look so cute! Congratulations on your new baby girl! Life will be even more fun!!! Sounds like Tahoe is already a good big brother!!! He will love the new addition, I'm sure! Take care and remember to show pictures of your new little girl. Any names picked out? Many Blessings!
Haha...Lucca is tolerating Izzy:) I'm sure, like me he can't wait for those puppy teeth to be gone. But she is truly a great dog and I have no regrets. The only thing I truly miss is my leisure morning.
Izzy has a very easy going playful personality. I haven't seen any negative aggression. In fact I was just commenting on that yesterday. In her play she is very aggressive with Lucca, but not in a negative way. She doesn't back down from him. But...he will very clearly tell her to STOP....and she listens. I am also a lot more relaxed with her. I'm not on her and pulling things out of her mouth all the time as I did with Lucca. Kind of like the 2nd child!!!
