- About Me:
- Mother of 3 children, 18, 25, and 27. Lost our Golden Retriever at 13 years old and wanted to try a different breed. I work part-time in my own business plus my husband's electrical contracting business. Now that the kids are older I needed another "baby"!!!
To make my life crazier and not to get "empty nest' syndrome we decided Lucca needs a playmate. We picked up little Izzy today 11/20/10
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We picked Lucca up at Almond Blossom Goldendoodles in Modesto CA on Sunday, Nov 16th 2008. He is from Tula/Micah Sept 19th, 2008 litter. We love him to pieces. We also have 2 cats, and a 9 year old Golden Retriever that lives with us part-time (my son's girlfriends dog).
Our new addition,Izzy, was born 9/24/10 from Almond Blossom's Estee/Casey litter
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We chose the goldendoodle. The Golden retriever and poodle seems like a great mix. Great personality and not much shedding. I also wanted a smaller dog. We are getting a mini/med size. I also struggled with another golden retriever but you cannot duplicate a personality. Doodles seem goofy, affectionate and happy all the time.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Long walks, going to the dog park, fetch, tug of war and snuggling
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- My son's girlfriend is a groomer..how convenient
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Peanut butter in a kong

Amazing how quickly time flies. Are you coming down to Carmel for Poodle Day today? I will be there with MonaChica and my camera. Love to see you and the dogs again.
Loved looking at your photos. #54 and #55 have Groucho in them and I do miss that dog. He was special to us.
Do you have to buy the Bregdan Chronicles books? They are not in any of the libraries around here. In fact, the librarians have not even heard of Ginny Dye. So I have been buying them one by one on Amazon. It is going to be expensive by the time I get through eight books. But they are good. I got hooked on the second book.
Come on down to Carmel next weekend for the Poodle Day in Carmel. It is October 3rd this year. I will be there taking photos (as usual).
Might you be interested in attending my Art Share in March? You are close enough and I know you are also an artist. We had a great time last year. Mostly local artists and friends. All you need to do is bring a couple of samples of your work and be ready to talk about what you do.
