About Me:: I am a recently retired high school secretary. I worked at Annville-Cleona High School for 18 years and loved it. I am married to my husband for 38 years. We bought a log cabin seven years ago in the mountains of south central Pennsylvania. We travel to our cabin just about every weekend. I enjoy bowling, needlework, cooking and playing games on the computer.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a three year old GoldenDoodle named Lacie. She is a sweet heart. She loves to play ball. Her favorite thing is when we use the Chuck-It to throw her ball down the yard at the cabin. I brush her daily and we both enjoy that. She sleeps on her back..something I have never seen other dogs do.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We had deceided to get another dog after both of us retired. Since purchasing our mountain cabin, we wanted a big dog. Our prior dogs were small poodles. I did not want the shedding. We found out about a breeded of GoldenDoodles. When we met Lacie, we fell in love and she was born on my father's birthday. He died on 1997. How lucky is that! She's perfect.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Lacie loves balls. We have a Chuck-It at the cabin where we have plenty of room on the mountain to throw ball. My husband walks her every morning. When it is raining, she sits and stares at him and just does not understand why they are not walking. She loves people. She has a lot of personality and learns things fast. She is 65 pounds of pure love.
