About Me:

I'm an about-to-retire systems analyst/program married to my terrific, retired husband. We have three grown children and four grandchildren. We love to read and travel. My friend, Mandy, does a great job taking care of our girl when we travel.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

Frank and I have a wonderful 3 1/2 year old female labradoodle named Kizzy. We found her on Craigslist. She was living in a pen with two other one year old labradoodles behind the owner's house. She had next to no contact with people and is still a little scared of them. She was afraid to go through doors and we had to housebreak her and teach her how to climb stairs.

Rescue

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Just luck that I checked on Craigslist. Our dog had died so we went to shelters to look for a rescue. Most of the dogs we found were rottweilers and pit bulss. We're in a townhouse and were looking for dog that our neighbor's wouldn't fear.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

1) Walk with our doggie group on Sunday mornings, 2) Run on the beach in Ocean City, NJ., and drive to nice, pet-friendly hotels for vacations.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Pet Styles but I'm going to learn to do it myself.

?-I didn't know there were any specifically for doodles.
