Heather, I was frantic about getting a puppy w Giardia and I expressed that to them over and over as I have other dogs and live in a situation where I have to walk the dogs. I don't know how I would be able to keep track of bowel movements and sterilizing the areas they all went so it wouldn't be ongoing and spread. I was petrified and insisted that Millie absolutely be tested until the second she got on that plane! I've read too many Giardia horror stories and unfortunately the problem seems to be limited to Manor Lakes from all the reports am
Nod complaints expressed by new puppy owners. I did hear that Manor Lakes had paid for all the meds and vet bills for a couple of cases but not sure if that's policy or just pressure from pet owners. I honestly don't mean to sound like I'm bashing ML but it just appears that all the complaints have stemmed from puppies coming from there. I do hope you won't have the problem. I feel that I dodged a bullet by having a Giardia free puppy from there. I have no idea if the problem still exists but it's worth looking at as many reviews as possible that have been posted recently. Good luck!

Hi Heather.  Congrats on your Manor Lakes doodle!!  I have my Millie who is a chocolate doodle from Manor Lakes and she's just a sweetheart, though a bit on the wild side.  However she's only 9 months old and loaded with puppy enthusiasm.  She's fine just quietly at home and loves to cuddle but when on leash or seeing other people she's a wild woman who is hard to control.  Now that the weather is better, I hope to take her on more walks and get her used to people without getting so excited.

The one tip I can give you regarding a Manor Lake puppy is to make sure they test her thoroughly up until the day you pick her up or they ship her to you, for Giardia.   Millie was lucky to not have this but many many other puppies from Manor Lakes have been sent home with it and it's a nightmare to get rid of.  If you read previous posts, you'll see what a problem it's been with Manor Lake puppies.  Good luck with Sophie and I hope all goes well!!!

Heather if you go to the top of your page and click on Groups and then you will find a box on the left hand side which is empty, type in Breeder groups and you will pull up many different groups you can join and get information from.
