What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Our chocolate medium Multi Gen ALD doodle puppy, Charlie, was born 4-27-15. He joins our 5 year old tabby cat, Oliver, who is infinitely patient with a puppy who tackles him and steals his food.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I developed adult onset allergies, so the low shed aspect of doodles is a huge benefit. In addition, their proven temperament is an added but critical bonus!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Just so you know, sending a message to everyone is only one way. We can only respond to you if we go to your page. You might want to start a discussion - maybe in puppy madness or on the main page. Don't name a breeder but solicit breeders in your area for you to check out. Just don't only take word of mouth because we all think our dogs are just the best - even if they aren't! Have you seen the guidelines in what to look for a breeder? Use it to guide you in researching any breeder suggested to you. http://www.doodlekisses.com/notes/What_To_Look_for_In_a_Breeder
Are you looking for a standard, medium or mini? Labradoodle or Goldendoodle or Australian Labradoodle? Be open to all of them - not that much difference other than 4th generation+ Australian Labradoodle is least likely to shed but cost the most. Don't look for a bargain, look for the best pet for you for the next 12 years. I have a paid a-lot-for Australian mini and a medium rescue sheds-a-lot goldendoodle. Both are great dogs.
Sharon at mywhatadoodle in weir ks has a few puppies left from her feb. Litter. We are going to pick up our little girl next sunday the 19th. She is an excellent breeder. The ones she has now is goldendoodles. Go to her web page and check her out. Plus she is in Ks.
Welcome to DoodleKisses and the Australian Labradoodle group. I'm rather waiting for my next doodle also - a sheepadoodle. I have had a labradoodle, a goldendoodle, and an ALD, so sheepadoodle is next for me. Keep us informed on your little puppy. ALD's are about as cute as they come, so I am attaching a photo of my ALD and a sheepadoodle. Enjoy this trip in Doodleland.
