About Me:: I love to garden, cook and enjoy people. I have been in the past a project manager for a furniture store, did trade shows for a local dog manufacturing company and worked for a 4 star restaurant as a sous chef for a brief time. I love decorating, flower arranging and making many different types of art .

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: My dog is a Goldendoodle, 5 months old and his name is Kaixin. We call him Kai. His name is Chinese for "Open Heart"! My daughter is graduating in acupuncture and came up with that name. I eventually want to do therapy with Kai and we just started Puppy Obedience Training. He is our only pet and what a love! I can't imagine life without him...He is an F1b.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I had been doing research and wanted a dog for therapy that was low shed , great around people and smart. He fit the cirteria perfectly..

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We snuggle on my deck at night and watch the stars together. He has a favorite stick he likes to chew and is our special time..we also love to play "chuck it" and go out to Stoney Point to meet lots of Kai's dog friends and people.

We take Morgan & Maddie to Robin at Sloppy Kisses in Midlothian and she really does a good job. She is right in that little shopping center at the entrance to Brandermill. There are several Doods from the Richmond group that go to Robin and seem to be pretty satisfied. Her number if you want it is 744-7674. Tell her Morgan & Maddie sent you and she'll take good care of you! They both love Robin!

Waiting at the window hoping you will be home soon. Waiting seems like hours and it is only noon! I catch a glimpse of something familiar, maybe, is it you? No, not your red truck, this one is blue. I will be right here by my favorite window, waiting for you, so we can play ball and hang out too!

At 7:39am on February 5, 2011, BG and Gavin said…: LOL yes Gavin is a boy - a big boy. He just turned 1.5 years. He is and F1. Yes they do look a bit similar (maybe that's what drew me to Kai). They both have a little darker gold ears.

Even if it rains, it sounds like your weather is much better than ours. We are buried under two feet of snow and the temp is -5 degrees celcius.

hating the sun going down so early and the cold weather (can't speak for Jazz, she LOOOOOOVVVVES the cold weather). We are enjoying the light "snow" -- as long as it stays "light" (heehee).
