Does anyone have a suggestion to what I should use for puppy food? Our breeder has them on Diamond Puppy Food. Should I keep him on that or change it eventually? Thanks :)Continue

Thank your for the friend request. I am having fun watching the pups develop. My husband and I are retired teachers, both of us have worked with students on the autism spectrum from extremely mild to severe. I hope your pup and your son form a perfect team.
Thank you for the friend request, Jenny. I am anxious to hear all about your pup and your boy!
Welcome to DK! I know you have arrived at the best place for the best advice and friendship. Join some of the groups I can highly recommend the Food Group (best advice to be had anywhere) the Puppy Madness group and the Training mindset & challenges group, oh and the Grooming Group for starters. There are wonderful knowledgeable people here only too willing to share so just dive in. Having a young child and a puppy at the same time will be a big challenge as you have to train the Aiden how to handle the puppy and vice versa. Puppies need to learn that children are not litter mates to be nipped and jumped on. Can I suggest a puppy socialization class as soon as possible and a training class when the timing is right too? Argo is a lovely name BTW...best of luck. Oh and PS get Pet insurance the minute you bring Argo home. Right now Boris who is 16 months old has recently had surgery on both shoulders for a pretty rare bone condition which had we not had insurance would have cost several thousand dollars.
