Welcome! This is a great place to share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
We were lucky and are getting the only one still listed as available.... "Wavy 3". We talked with Glenn late yesterday and paid the deposit quickly before someone else snatched her up!
She will be my son's birthday present, but as is the case with my other son's dog, will really just be another cherished member of our family. Now we are coming up with a list of possible names. When we meet her we'll see which seems to fit her best!
Welcome Jodean! Which puppy are you getting? I looked at the two Mini GD's litters they have up and I can't tell.
Here is my Whispering Pines Kennel beauty! If you look at their website, you can see the picture of her Christmas of 2010 (she was born 7/27/2010).
They sure do something right at WPK! Rua is a Mini F1B and at 18 months is 17.4lbs and is an incredible girl. She is not only the prettiest little thing you have ever seen (IMHO), but smart and loving. I keep in regular touch with Glenn, sharing new pictures of Rua and checking in to see what's going on. I would love another WPK Doodle, but too much going on in my life right now.
This site, regarding puppy development was hugely helpful for me...Rua was my first puppy. I would study each stage as we went into it and it was really beneficial.
Join Puppy Madness group, the Poop Group, the Food Group, etc.! I really focused on touch and cuddles with Rua when she was a puppy. She is such a little cuddle-bug now and I love it.
Welcome to Doodle Kisses!!! We hope you find this site fun and informative just like we do. Take some time to look around, read the blogs, join some groups and make some friends. This is a great community that really comes together in our love of Doodles!

As far as the first few weeks, just keep remembering, she will outgrow the puppy stage! Invest in a Bissel Spot Bot (there's a discussion on the main page right now - http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/recommendation-for-steam-spot-cleaner-for-carpet).
