What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

Our golden doodle, Herbie J was born on January 1st, 2009 at Burkhart Kennels. He is a very social dude, who loves to romp in the woods, and will play with a ball until the day's end. In the summer, he loves to swim at the cottage, and enjoys the outdoors around the campfire while camping. He is equally excited when the first snow falls, so he can join us as we snowshoe or cross country ski in the woods.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

No shedding! We absolutely love his disposition, and his friendly nature. He will also hopefully be less predisposed to genetic diseases such as hip displaysia.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Run, Hike, Ski, Bike on the trails. He also loves to romp in the park with a ball, or a frisbee.
