- We love golden retrievers but did not want all of the shedding. We were also hoping for a somewhat smaller dog and thought that the miniature goldendoodle would be the best of both worlds. We got exactly what we are looking for. She is a very funny and quirky little dog!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We love to take her for walks around the neighborhood. We call her Gladys Kravitz because she is so nosey! She's also funny while playing in the backyard with a tennis ball, etc. We have never met a dog with more energy than Sophie. We try to tire her out, but she ends up tiring us out!!

- A little bit but nothing major

Yeah, he's small. He is 8 weeks old. We think he's growing though :)
I love all of the pics of Sophie. She is a beauty and it looks like she is fitting in perfectly. I especially love the one under the chair and where she is sleeping on the shoes.

Thanks for the friend request. Please post a lot of pictures. I have one golden Maggie who is 9 years old. Excited about the golden doodle but also a little scared after reading some of the posts.

Sophie is such a cutie! Enjoy them while they're tiny! They grow fast!
I had a golden retriever as well. I loved her with all my heart (she was a sweetie) but HATED the hair all over everything. Doodles are way better with that. That's what made me get them. But I must admit I do have "tumble weeds" (fur balls) floating around the kitchen floor. I have 2 doodles and combined they aren't anything close to the tumble weeds of one golden!!
