About Me:
Hi, My name is Laurie Trocheck. I am a small family breeder located outside of Atlanta ,Ga. My everyday job for the last many years has been a horse trainer and riding instructor which I dearly love. My friend Carol Dean of Southern Charmlabradoodles helped me along into trying doodle breeding. So far it has been wonderful. My family consists of My husband Bob and three sons,Alex Zack and Phillip. Recently Zack and his lovely wife Corry made me a proud grandmother to a strong big boy named Micheal Blaine. I feel very blessed to have such wonderful family, friends and also animal friends.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
I am raising Aussiesdoodles and English creme goldendoodles. Rhett (Southerncharm labradoodles ) and Ruthie (Australian Shepherd) are expecting their first litter Nov. 1. We can hardly wait to see what color combinations and coat types we will be getting. Aussies have very lovely soft hair coats and hopefully that will pass on to their puppies along with great dispositions and lots of trainablity. Rhett always seems to throw intelligent, sweet and beautiful pups so we are very excited. Racheal is a imported English creme golden retreiver. Her parents are both champion show dogs in Russia and are beautiful. She is 14 months old and has turned out to be everything we had hoped for. I hope to do goldendoodles and also goldens with Racheal in the future. I also want to show both girls in obedience and conformation in their own breed associations.

I have been going to RHSC for at least 20 yrs. My husband has been working the open ring for 15yrs. Before we started to work there Francis and the farrier guy (I forget his name) use to run it. I have been there way to long. Doyal ran it for a while.
I am with you on that. I have seen so many jerking on the mouth and kicking the Sh** out of the horse to get what they want. I have even saw someone punch their horse in the face. I told them to leave the show grounds.(I love to be in authority). Mine he is more of a big pet. He is spoiled rotten. I just do local shows. He was given to me 2yrs ago.
I ride AQHA style Western pleasure and English pleasure. I also help run Rolling Hills Saddle Club in Alpheratta. With the economy the way it is I have started to teach beginner western riding to help pay for my horse's board. I have a paint Palomino. Now everyone at the barn I am at do three day eventing. They all laugh at how slow my horse goes. lol
Hi Laurie,
Thank you for your response. Curious to know the energy level. Does it vary? We just bought 60 acres and are going to be moving to the property eventually. Thought this would be a good bred with the Aussie mix. Not a working ranch, more of a retreat with a few mules and basic outdoor activities. We are planning to have one pure bred Border Collie, but my allergies can't handle two shedding dogs in one house. GRIN So, to help combat, we are very interested in the Aussiedoodles. Thank you. Terri
Hi Laurie,
Adina lead me in your direction, and will be visiting your site. I'm interested in Aussiedoodles, and the hard to find Borderdoodle. Hopefully we can chat. Trying to find some information about the mix -Aussie- as far as energy level etc. Can you help me? Terri
Hi Laurie,
I love this song playing when I open your page! And looking at your other artists, we share the same tastes! I was actually considering adding aussiedoodles in the future. Do you have pics of your new litter? There are also 2 groups on the site, therapy dogs and autism/special needs/dogs. Email anytime, I would love to hear and/or share things we learn regarding therapy dogs.

Hi! I actually added you because I really love Aussiedoodles and hope to get one one day! Oliver is incredible- you can read about some of his training in my blog. But basically he was potty trained in 4 days- he rings a bell to go outside. We hope to train him as a therapy dog, which is why we joined the special needs group...His father was an apricot poodle and his mother a golden- you can see photos of them on my page :)
