- Hi, I just moved back home after 8 years in Virginia. It's good to be home, back with the sea, family and great food, but my dood Jack is needing some pals. I love meeting new people too :)
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Jack is a F2 Chocolate Labradoodle. He'll 2 yrs in September. He's a great boy, so smart, so much fun and a dogs-dog for sure. Loves the beach, the snow, and is ready to play and snuggle at all times.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Jack was born in Oregon. Getting him was not planned :) I was looking to adopt a bassett-mix named Padma. But another family wanted her (which I understand, it was the best thing for her. A friend of mine in Oregon told me about her friend who is a breeder, and she sent me pictures of the 8 week old puppies. I could not resist. So Jack took the flight to me at 10 weeks old
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Aside from morning snuggle time, we love playing in the snow. Jack gets his face right in there :) Playing with other pups is tops on both our lists.

- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I am looking for a groomer. Please help!
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Give Jack a tennis Ball and Yam Goods (Chicken/Yam wraps) and he is a happy camper

I'll send you a message for the groomer.... she is WONDERFUL! Tori LOVES to get in the car. when I grab her 'car leash' she goes nuts and races to get in the car, but after about 3 minutes, she's does the 3 Ps...panting and pacing and POOPING - YUP! she has gone from vomiting as a puppy to pooping... not very pleasing ride at all! BUT - funny - coming home- she's fine! Really what I have to do is take her for rides (very short ones) and then get out at out local school and play with her... tried it once and as soon as we got around the corner and got out.. out "it" came! UGH! lol I should just have one big doodle playdate at my house....poor Tori, she lives such a sheltered life... no dogs really around to play with. There is actually a goldendoodle right next door. I mentioned when they first got him that they should play, but... guess they're not interested :o(

Linda. we're on the North Shore as well. Hauppauge. Greenlawn is far for you to go to. That's some hike from Miller Place. I heard there is a palce in Kings park that is good. I am happy enough with the groomer at my Vets place. The past 2 times I have had her cut his body very short for summer and left his face/head longer. If anything i would have just trimmed his head a drop more. I am taking him for his final summer cut on Thursday so hopefully I will continue to be happy. I may go over to the lake this afternoon with Sonny when it starts to dry up. this way my kids don't come home too muddy.
