He is an American F1 Standard Goldendoodle.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We had a 9 year old Golden Retriever that we lost to bone cancer at the end of last summer. We loved everything about the golden except for the shedding. A family at school had a goldendoodle and I instantly fell in love!
An intelligent loving family dog that had little shedding was perfect! Plus we like BIG dogs and it is very hard to find large dogs that don't shed a ton!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Snuggle in front of the fireplace first thing in the morning or later in the day when he tires out!

Yep. Bexter's color was fairly dark red when he was younger & now seems blonder too. I know what you mean about seeing some of the darker color in there. It looks like Bexter's head & front part of body are a little darker than his waist down, which looks blonder. But...his feet are a little darker than his legs. I wanted him to keep his color too! I am hoping he stays at least light apricot. Hopeflly! Oscar's color still looks pretty apricot to me, although I don't know how old he is in the pictures on your page. I hope Bex' coat stays non-shedding...maybe he'll be like Oscar! It is interesting to see all the changes & wonder what your pup will grow up to look like. That's why I tell all new puppy parents to choose based on temperament - it is hard to tell what they'll end up looking like anyway!
When you went to pick out Oscar, what choice were you?! And Oscar looks like and sounds like the sweetest boy into the entire world, but what was his personality like with his brothers and sisters?! And did the personality assessment help with your decision too?! Haha I'm sorry I'm asking a million questions! You have been sooo helpful for me! :-)
I am soo excited I can't stand it!! I just want to choose and then take my little guy home! Oh gosh, my favorites change pretty much daily but top three as of now are Black, Dark green, and bright green. Did you say you had pictures of Oscar's litter when they were little?? How do the litter's compare?! As I was looking at the mini and medium litters, Rain's look a little more golden retriever than the others. Which is perfect for me because that's exactly what I want! Hope Oscar is doing well! how's he liking the warmer weather?! I've been noticing that doodle's coats change a lot during about the first year, is Oscar's coat changing alot??
