What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a 7 month old female "Superdoodle" (a.k.a. a North American Retriever or Double Doodle) named Tessa, a 10 month old lab/mix rescue named Zoey, a 3 year old Maltese/Yorkie rescue named Juliette, and a 11 year old maltese/mix rescue named Scruffee.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My last rescue (Zoey) came down with kennel cough/pneumonia which one of my maltese/mix girls also caught and both were pretty sick, not to mention the size of my vet bill. I felt safe adopting Tessa from a private breeder that she wouldn't bring any diseases into our home.

When we got Rouser, we asked to see the dad and he was, at the time, with Susan's sun in a house right near that Nursery off Carmel Valley Road. He was a sweet dog but furrier than either of ours.

Rouser's fur has also changed a lot in the last year. His coat is wiry and wavy and sheds quite a bit. I thought that would bother me - it doesn't in the least. He's now topped out at a lean 90 pounds. He's trim but STRONG. Tessa?

I saw the photos at Dog Beach. Does she like the water? Rouser is SCARED TO DEATH of any kind of water except when getting a dog bath (and he likes that).

Oh my gosh! Yes, Rouser and Tessa are from the same litter. She looks just like him! Rouser's original name was Owen - what was Tessa's name? It is just breaking my heart to see those pictures of her!

Sorry, I am still getting the hang of this and just found your friend request! I live in Sun City Anthem and would love to set up a playdate. I wanted to go to the last couple play dates and something came up both times. We are in Southern California right now, but will be back tomorrow, Tuesday. Took the girls to the beach for the first time, they loved it!!! Talk to you soon.
