When and how to transition to 2 meals?
Hello!My Luna is almost 6 months old and weighing 39 lb. I've been feeding her 3 times a day (total 3 cups).I'm wondering when is the best age to transition her to 2 meals a day, and if it should be done cold turkey or slowly proportioning the quantity she gets at the midday feeding.Any advice or suggestion will be greatly appreciated! - I have a 3rd old Goldendoodle named Turbo. He his 95 lbs and stands 5 ft 6 in on his hind legs.
As his name suggests he is Turbo Charged . He is perfect in the house and I dog sit and he is very calm around dogs I take care of. He will play gentle or rough depending on the other dog.
Now people especially men he is a maniac. I don't have much company. So he's not around people so when someone comes I have to put him behind a gate until they come in and sit down. After about 10 min I can let him in and he charges ahead. He doesn't jump on them as long as they are seated. I figured it was because he wanted eye contacted at his level since he is quite tall to the shoulders.
He is to strong for me to walk but I have a large fenced area and a large back deck for him to run on. He doesn't like to be out by himself so I have to be on the deck or in the pen with him
He has to be with me at all times.
I am retired and live alone up in the mountains.
People have told me that he won't loose his energy until he's about 10 yrs old.
Only 7 more yrs to go. LOL
