MY BUDDY

- About Me:
- I retired early so I could devote most of my time painting. I am an artist and I work in oils and also watercolors. I have recently become a widow. My husband died of a massive heart attack in 2006. I couldn't get pass the loneliness, so, I got my dog, Buddy. I have always loved dogs and other animals. I love to hike, chrochet and garden. I love the outdoors. I love to meet new people and talk about my new love. (My dog of course.)
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Buddy is a cream color with a little darker tan on his ears and across his back and the tip of his tail. He is 11 months old and goes everywhere with me. I would be lost without him. He has the temperment of the retriever and pretty mellow when he settles down. I am having a hard time teaching him not to jump. He loves people and other dogs. He is SO FRIENDLY. People just love him, and is known by his name on this trail that we walk daily. He is so smart and can do quite a few tricks and good on obedience. (Well,....... we are working on the jumping up.) Would love to hear from other doodle owners. :)

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I have allergies and I love the no-shedding. I have always loved big dogs. I love the look of sheep dogs and couldn't handle the shedding of them. Therefore, the goldendoodle fits my needs. I feel very safe when Buddy is with me. He is such a good companion and we go all over.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We are always going for walks everyday. He travels well in the truck with me. He goes everytime that I can take him with me.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do.. And I brush him................DAILY.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- I can't think of anything special right now.

Hi Margie, Thank you for the friend request and I agree our doods do look a lot alike. Quincy will be four in Jan and I have no idea where that time has gone.

I'd love to see Buddy's new haircut. I'll just bet he not only looks good but feels cooler too! Teddy is ready for another one. She gets hot and is definitely more comfortable with a shorter do. You are right Teddy and Buddy do look so much alike....Adorable...wouldn't you say?
