Hi we have a mini golden doodle and have desperately been trying to master the doodle cut -- your pups have the cut we want but pictures alone don't give the groomer here enough guidance.  Can you give me some tips (detailed instructions really!) if you groom them yourselves or give me your groomer's contact info -- Thanks ever so much!

Hi Melissa, 

I'm new to DK and am getting an F1B Mini GD either this summer or this time next year. I'm really hoping due to the parents that my F1B looks more like an F1. Do you have any pictures of Shelby when she was younger than 8 weeks...did she look a lot like a flat coat when born? Im thinking of choosing the straightest coat out of the puppies, so I get closest to the coat type I want. Any advice for choosing? I have first pick, which makes me nervous also!

Hi Melissa, It was really good to meet you and your georgious doodles at the Doodle Romp. I noticed you are friends with Andrea Brewer. That is who I got Darbey from! I wish I would have asked you where you got your doodles.  Did you only get Sampson from Andrea? Who were his parents, if you don't mind me asking.

Hi Melissa .... Sophie finally got a pretty good haircut. She stayed the same color and still looks very much like your Shelby in the profile pic. Apricot on back and sides and more creamy on the head and legs. She doesn't shed nearly as much now that she is shorter, but does still shed. She is very easy to comb out.

Hi Melissa ..... I cannot believe how much Shelby has changed since the RAW Romp last Spring! She looked so much like my Sophie at the ROmp that I had trouble telling them apart ..... now, nothing alike! Amazing how they change.

Hey, Melissa. I'm new here, but I just wanted to say that my future puppy has similar markings to your youngest GD. I've enjoyed seeing the progression in pictures of Shelby as she has grown older. You've got two beautiful dogs!

Shelby was born Sep 4, 2008. She's an F1b GD from the Paw Pad in IL.
