Cream, our 135 lb. labradoodle! His name is Cream [Eric Clapton band] and so is his color [beautiful golden cream]. He studied the art of Anarchy during his 1st year. He decided that, if he relinquished a little independence, he would gain greater pleasure being a responsible citizen within our pack. What a difference! We are proud of him. We revel in the fun and joy that he brings to the table. ....Nnooo More.... Cream, our boy/joy/fun friend, has passed away [9/9/09] due to IMHA. He fought bravely and was on the mend when he relapsed. Damn, DAMN IMHA! He was only three years old. My wife and I and his companion, Misty, need to fill the void in our hearts. He had such an intelligent big heart.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Loving intelligence is #1; Hypo Allergenic is not a requirement for us. F1 Labradoodles fit the job description.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Teach him a ball game. Soon, of course, he would rewrite the rules. We liked walks and dog parks. As we opened the park entrance gate, Cream would become a dog cannon ball at the circus. I liked to occasionally wrestle with him when he was being pushy insistent. It would startle him, and his tail would go into high gear. My wife is a super cuddler, and Cream, ready or not, got more than his share.

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

We do when we don't have the funds. Otherwise, we use Golden Dog in Vancouver, WA.

Favorite Doodle Products?

We invested a few hundred dollars in demolished toys. We finally settled on Kong and Tuff products.
