About Me:: I live with my husband and 12 year old daughter in Austin; am a stay-at-home mom, enjoy photography, music, travel, and tap dancing!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a small standard Labradoodle named Fozzy. He was born 4/9/09 to Dixie's Kona and Peabo McDreamy. Fozzy is the sweetest 40 pound lap dog you'll ever meet!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We wanted a smart, fun, kind-of-big dog that didn't shed

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Walk, play fetch, cuddle, watch him chase my daughter in our big back yard, watch him chew the living daylights out of a Nylabone rather than my baseboards

Favorite Doodle Products?: I love the Chris Christensen wire brush that my breeder recommended, the no-slip collar that our trainer recommended, and the (fairly) indestructible Nylabone that Fozzy can chew for hours on end

At 7:27pm on July 22, 2010, Laurie, Fudge, and Vern said…: Michelle, Fudge's coat gets lighter and lighter every time we have her groomed too. In some places it is almost silver. I am so glad someone has heard of Vernor's ginger ale. No one out our way has a clue as to what I am talking about when I say his name. We always go for the food names for our dogs and stretched a little bit with Vern's name. It was my husband's first and only choice. I wanted Noodle, but he said he wasn't going to the dog park and yelling, "Here Noodle, Here Fudge." He has turned into a Vern, for sure. Thanks for the compliments about my doodles. They are good dogs :)
