Midge and Gracie... Congratulations on being a new doodle Mom. Gracie is darling!!! As you probably know by now, every day is a new adventure with your doodle (or any dog for that matter, but there is definitely something special about a doodle). My husband and I are the proud owners of both a Goldendoodle (Champ) and a Labradoodle (Scooby). Our Champ is 16 and Scooby is almost 6. They are just the best dogs ever. As a relatively new member of Doodle Kisses I can say it is a great place to gush over our doodles and have everyone understand, because they feel the same way about their pups. Looking forward to see Gracie grow up. Make sure you keep posting new photos...I'll be looking to see her grow.
Hi Midge ~ Don't know how you turn the profile pic of Gracie (adorable, adorable!) but WELCOME to DKisses - I don't mind turning my computer around to see her. I just tried different things out when I first came to DK. You'll catch on more quickly than you think. Brady is a mini golden doodle - 7 mos. My name is Margot!
Lol...I totally understand...but try not to worry...
The most important thing at first is to just Love your Doodle...then Crate training to sleep through the night and potty training...
Just concentrate on those things first...
Get on a schedule...and remember to take your baby out right after meals...immediately when Gracie gets up from sleep and right after playtime. That's when they have to "go"! (smile)
You also want to start on a good dry food. Make sure to join the food group. You'll find it very helpful.
Don't forget to use the search box that you'll find at the upper right of your home page. You can type in a word or phrase and past discussions will come up. You can read about all types of topics...and learn just about anything you need to know.
Wishing you the Very best...and I know you'll do well...most of all...relax and Enjoy Gracie!
