About Me:: We love dogs...our oldest daughter went further and studied hard and became a veterinarian. After our kids were educated and out of the nest...and our old doxy died..my husband and I got a puppy golden doodle. She is the light of our life.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: After lots of dogs in our family...Meggie...our golden doodle is the best. She is 2 i/2 years old and so smart and loving.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: hypo allergic, minimal shedding. great personality of golden retriever and smartness of a standard poodle

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: She is a huge fan of frisbees and aroebys....she gets lots of exercise and not too hard on her older parents.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: looking for one

help...I need a GD groomer in Portland, Oregon.

Hi...anyone out there in or around Portland oregon? I need a good groomer for our 2 1/2 year old darling. She needs a haircut from a good groomer...we have had some poor experiences and am looking for a good one. thanks Nancy

i just found a really good one...any other doodle owners in the area that want the name...give me a shout. Nancy and Meggie

Hood, and I get so many customers from the Portland area....there must be tons of doodles there....my doodles would just love to run along your beautiful Oregon coastline.

Thank you for asking me about a brush for Meggie....I just love her coat color, she is beautiful......I notice in her photos, Meggie is clipped rather short. If you normally keep her coat that short you probably wouldn't need more than a comb and a 4" Soft Slicker brush (Miller's Forge).....but if her coat grows longer I would recommend using the Les Poochs Wide Sized Green brush. Everything I mentioned above is available at the website posted on my profile page.
