I am Mom. I have three daughters and two dogs. I work as a nurse.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Molly is an F1b labradoodle born Nov 2009. She was the runt of her litter and required great care from Sandy her breeder who bottle fed her every two hours around the clock, Bless her heart! We also have a tiny maltese/poodle name Mack.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I have wanted one for 20 years and have watched the breed developing over the last few decades.
Hi Nancy! Thanks for the nice comment on Lucy... we really liked the way the last groomer clipped Lucy, except for the head. People in the grooming group on DK say the top of the head should blend to the top of the ears, with no visible demarcation. This groomer didn't seem to know how to do that, but I'll take pictures for her next time. Molly is looking more and more like Lucy as she matures. She looks whiter and maybe a bit less curly, but I can sure see the similarities. They do look like sisters! Does Molly have that sweet temperament that Sandi breeds for? Lucy absolutely does. She's one of the most gentle and non aggressive dogs I've ever seen at any dog park or doodle romp. She does like to play though, with dogs that aren't too rough with her. Otherwise she wants nothing to do with them.
