About Me:: We are retired and living on the California Central Coast (between San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara). Prior to retirement I was a Foreign Service Officer and worked at U.S. Embassies around the world. I have visited some 80 countries during my career.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Labradoodle - Bailey - born September 21, 2009.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We had a Golden Retriever who was the love of our life but we had to put him to sleep in June, 2009 after he fought cancer for six months - we didn't want to go through that again - but wanted just as nice loveable dog.

We actually had a Labradoodle picked out with another breeder (Hales Labradoodles) but she reneged on the contract - a long story but write to me if you are thinking about using her. We then found a great breeder in Paso Robles and found Bailey!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Take long walks on the beach - he is now like our child. Play ball and just chase each other.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!
