- About Me:
- Just returned from living abroad in Switzerland with my husband and two children. Lucky enough to land in beautiful OR. Chose a Goldendoodle pup to add to our family.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- My son fell head over heels with a red, male, F1B Goldendoodle. He will come home to us in two weeks! Brainstorming names and reading up on puppy training with kids. We have been learning about Goldendoodles, as we love both Golden Retrievers and Poodles.
We currently have a 13yo Pyr/Huskey mix that was our first baby and has been the best friend a person could ask for. We also have a 6yo cat who loves her dogfriend more than anyone else. Our kids love our gentle, fur giant but would like a baby pup to nurture and romp with, hence the search for a Goldendoodle!
We hoped to rescue a Goldendoodle, as we did our older dog, but the rescues won't let families with children under 10yo adopt. I understand their reasoning, but it is disappointing none the less.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We like the qualities of both breeds. In particular we hope for a dog that plays fetch and would like to join us at the beach for a swim and in the mountains for a hike. No one in the family has allergies, we just like the hair of the Doodles.
- Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.)
