I'm a 50 year old mom whose children have left home for college. I work with my husband in his medical office and enjoy doing music and being outdoors.

My Doodle is Harley. He is a 2 year old Golden Doodle who is absolutely obsessed with balls. He is my replacement child for my children who are gone to college now. I also have a 13 year old Westie.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

My daughter actually chose this breed for me. She wanted a dog who was a good companion, did not shed and was smart. We had a schnoodle previously and fell in love with the poodle mixes.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I love to do almost anything with Harley. However, he is still young enough that it is to our advantage to give him lots of exercise. I like to take him on walks where he can be off leash so he can chase the ball and get more tired that he could on lease. He LOVES water so in the summer I lay by the pool under the umbrella and throw the ball into the pool...for hours if he has his way. He love to go anywhere we go.
