Then Blow dry against coat so hair is standing up, blow opposite direction of the way it lays. That way the hair stands up straight and clips better. It must be totally dry or it will plug clippers. And yes I do go up down back and forth but be carefull because it can keep shortening that way.I have four Goldendoodles Harlee is the easiest coat to groom this winter I am letting him go full coat. Although I do trim feet, face, I don't like them looking like Big Foot:-)
