Has any one had trouble with ticks? We have frontline plus and shots for lyme disease for Jake but every time we take him in the woods for a hike and on trails he comes back with 4 or 5 ticks.

WE HAVE A CAMP ON THE LAKE,JAKE WON'T GO IN THE WATER,DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA'S,MY HUSBAND MADE HIM HIS ON PRIVATE DOCK WITH A SLANT SO HE CAN GO IN GRADUALLY BUT DIDN'T HELP.

- we haven't had him groomed yet, we cut his hair by his eyes so he can see I love the long soft hair.

Hi Sharon, I clip my guys very short. We live in Hawaii. I use a 4F. If that is too short for you, I used to use a 3/4 skip toothed blade. Look on Petedge.com for blades. I have two standard Goldendoodles. You are right. The 10 blade would be too short. I hope you have fun clipping your doodle. It does get easier. The first time I did it I was following him around for days picking at the tufts I missed. ;o)

14 inches! OMD. I can't even imagine that. I know that I don't live in snow and seldom even see it, but I really, really love snow pictures and I really, really, really LOVE seeing pictures of doodles lovin' the snow.
