What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We are receiving our Stargazer Australian Labradoodle next Tuesday.
HIs name is Mocha. He is 7 1/2 months old and is a medium brown merle with a fleece coat.
Our only other pets are two red eared slider turtles named Jakey and Phoebe.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We chose a doodle because of their disposition with children and families, their non/low shedding coats and how fluffy and huggable they are.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Mocha loves frolicking in the snow, frisbie & tug of war. I like to hike & snuggle with him.

Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.): Yes

At 9:59am on March 22, 2014, Marla Norton said…: Zoe loves the Orijen. We started her on the Costco Puppy formula, which was made by Diamond, at Mary's suggestion. She turned 1 around the time Diamond had a big recall due to salmonella contamination. But we did mix in the Orijen and gradually switch her over. FYI, I did some legal work for Champion, the mfr of Orijen. They are looking to build some plants here in the U.S. Hopefully, having some manufacturing operations a little closer may reduce the price some!

Zoe's hair mats pretty badly and we have had to shave her several times. Our groomer recommends coming in every 6 weeks just to prevent trouble, but she is up in Oxford and it's a bit of a haul so we let it go too long. She HATES being brushed, unfortunately.
