I am glad you love her - and sometimes things just happen for a reason.  She will probably turn out to be the sweetest, best dog ever.  I will be watching for photos of your beautiful girl and follow her progress.  It will be interesting to see what happens after her mature coat comes in.  See you on DK!

Welcome to Doodlekisses! I think your puppy is absolutely adorable! Although I am partial to the look. I have two fluffy's and one open face. I can tell you that she is just the sweetest of my bunch and the most snuggly. But I can certainly understand your disappointment when you were expecting something else. I don't think you will be sorry you got her though. She is precious!

Hi Stacy ~ I saw your comment in "Where is the Doodle" group.  I am so sorry if you are disappointed that your cute little puppy is flat coated.  I remember when I first started researching getting a doodle I did a ton of research and decided on an Australian labradoodle mainly because of the breeding practice of ALD breeders.  I know there are goldendoodle breeding programs that are multi generational  but you really have to your research. One thing  to keep in mind, if you have an F1 goldendoodle, is most likely it will shed - and a shedding coat is so much easier to care for than those that do not shed.  I have seen some members that prefer F1 flat coated doodles because of this fact.  So many breeders are in it for the money and they really do not know what they are doing when they start crossing back to the next breeding line.  Originally they breed a golden to standard poodle - the puppies are F1 (and you really do not know what coat type you will be getting after the puppy matures), Then the next generation they should be breeding the F1 back to a standard poodle, to get the nonshedding coat, etc. I have heard where some breeders breed back to a golden, I believe that type of breeder does not know what they are doing. I have two ALDs and I researched 6 plus generations in their line - so I knew the lineage of each breeding dog (mother and father) of my puppies. It is all a learning process.  I hope you enjoy your sweet puppy - it has a super sweet kissable face!
