What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I now have one sweet labradoodle, named Bella. She is a F2, female, from a F2 and a standard...Black, shiny, wavy hair. I am leaving my profile paragraph belowtoo, as I can't stand to negate the 2 prior chocolsate labradoodles I recently had...Chloe died unexpectedly a few months ago, just turned 9, healthy, puppyish, of a brain anuerysm.Bridget, lived to almost 14. So, below is their description:
I.I have 2 adorable labradoodles. Both chocolate girls. Bridget is 9 and Chloe is 2. they get along very well, but Bridget gets a break a few times a week, when Chloe goes to play with her young pals at dogy daycare.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Needed to replace Chloe, quickly, and decided to stick with the breed. Below is the reason for the original 2.
Saw a picure and she looked just like a dog (mutt ) I grew up with and adorned. And I am allergic to dogs, but thatstill wouldn't keep me from getting a dog, but a hypo allergenic that looks like my best friend growing up, cinched the deal. and I loved her so much that7 years later i got another!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Take Bella to dog park,and the the beach to run and play with other dogs. Below is what I said about Bridget and Chloe
Go to the river...watch Chloe RUN, walk with them....and just hang out with them.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Barking Lot:Now I've decided after 4 year to have Chloe cut and groomed. She was a shaggy MESS. Shorter hair that feels like sable, and now back to chocolate color!

Sad Subject:Deceased Doodles

Bridget would have been 16. She died at almost 14. Chloe the eternal puppy, healthy as could be...energetic, well. Funny, fun, died suddenly at age 9, of an aneurysm. Other doodles are aging...I can't be the only one who has lost their babies...as some are older now...I am not trying to be a downer, but who else has gone through this horror?BTW I adopted a beautiful Bella, a black F2 labradoodle this week.

We have a new and exciting event coming July 26th, from 1-4 to celebrate our recent jump to 100 members!
We will be having a BBQ/Picnic and a lake for the doodles to go swimming at The Dude Ranch in Glen Allen. Please check out the discussion on the group page entitled "Party Time" and respond there if you plan to attend so I can get a doodle head count for the facility.

This is a reminder that the Spring Romp is next weekend March 15th at 1pm. The make-up date in case of bad weather is the following Sunday. We have some great news, our newest member Charnell told me her daughter Amy, is launching a canine therapeutic massage business and she has volunteered to provide some freebie massages to the GRAD group at the romp. Also as I stated in the e-mail message we will be having a few contest. Inspired by Strange's Dog days in the garden, the best sit/stay, the owner/doodle look-a-like, and the best dressed for St. Patty's day contests. Please respond in the discussion on the group page if you will be attending and please let me know if you are new to the group, are attending and would like your GRAD bandana for your doodle.
