Goldie is pretty darn amazing! I will tell you that the more you go for the Golden Retriever look the more shedding you are going to get. Goldie is an F1B so her mom is an F1 Goldendoodle (50%poodle/50% retriever) and her dad is 100% poodle. This makes Goldie 75% poodle and 25% retriever. Don't be thrown off by the 75% poodle. That does NOT mean that they will necessarily look poodley. I do not think Goldie looks anything like a poodle as you can see from my pics. She does not shed one bit and as you can read in my last post (here) she is amazing with kids, I've never heard her bark and she's incredibly intelligent.

She came from a breeder in Indiana. During your search for a breeder I'd recommend you go through GANA. They have strict requirements and breeders who are certified by them are required to complete extensive genetic testing. My breeder is registered with GANA.

Searching by your state is a good start but several breeders also do shipping if you are out of state. I went with Hilltop Pups in Jasper Indiana.

We have a goldendoodle and as you can see by the pic she looks nothing like a poodle or doodle!!!....yet, I have papers otherwise!...The only time she is does is when she is wet and all the curly comes out....I prefer the look of a golden but believe me the shedding is almost constant!.....I don't think these doodles are the preferred type. I haven't found any that look like her and we've had her for 10 yrs......I cant seem to find a breeder who has these types of litters.............She is a therapy dog and LOVES the grandchildren....she is quite smart and has been easy as pie to train!!!!...........Like you Iam looking for another goldendoodle to train but haven't found the right one as yet I guess............Mattie came from Ohio.................Let me know if you would if you find someone!!!!........
