Hi Tina! My friend is now lending me her pen - it is 8 panels, 24" wide each, 36" tall, with a door. I'll let you know brand names when I get it :)

Hi Tina! You will love this Forum! There are so many groups with tons of information! Can't wait to see pictures of your puppy. Alls I would tell you now from my experience is it's never too early to start training (they are so dang smart!) and be consistent and carry treats with you to encourage your pup to follow your commands- eventually you will be able to fade the treats out... and replace with praise for most commands. Oh, and you may want to start out with kibble as the treat. I wish I had. A Schedule is a "sanity" keeper too. I followed the breeders schedule almost to a tee and I believe that helped Safiy feel secure and more confident in his new environment.
Good luck! By the way this post is not only a hello and welcome, but it is also a response to your post in Puppy Madness : )

Hi Tina ~ I notice you live in Portland.  Are you getting your doodle in Oregon too?  We live in SE Washington and I found our doodles up on the Canadian border in Lyndley WA.  When you get a chance check out the groups section on the main page and join as many as you like.  As a new puppy owner, you might like to join the Puppy Madness group and also the grooming group so you will get some ideas what to expect.  Looking forward to seeing photos of your new little doodle.  Welcome to Doodle Kisses!
