About Me:

Most of my life was spent in the film and television world, for 20+ years, then in 1998 I left Hollywood to start a retreat for people in crisis (www.kivaconnection.com) on 120 acres in rural western NY. In 2004 I started an Alpaca business on the same location to help augment the income needs for the property. I founded Alpacas in the USA! in 2006 and am presently looking to add Australian Labradoodles to my life since they are obviously so incredible and synergistic with all else I believe in and am trying to support here on Moon Ivy Hill.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I'm taking my time doing lots of research and planning before I will make my first purchase of a Labradoodle, but I do expect the first dog to be female, medium or standard and definitely an authentic multi-gen Australian Labradoodle out of only Australian lines.

Right now I have 40+ alpacas here, four Great Pyrs (LGDs), an American Indian Dog house companion and our "Outer Perimeter Patrol Pooch!" plus two pygmy goats (Patience and Grace), five horses, four donkeys and a full-sized therapy pig named ANGEL (and she truly is one). A revolving flock of chickens is always here, and two incredible old friends, Heyokah (Ocicat: dob 09/1993) and Harvest (American Bobtail: dob 12/1995) live here with me and my intern, Mackenzie Stoffle (21 year old sweetheart and animal science major).

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Loving, happy, friendly and playful personality, intuitive nature, service dog capabilities, smarts, no-shed coat, low allergy type for visitors here, etc.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I guess I won't have an answer for this for awhile!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I will or Mackenzie will once we have one or two here (the plan!)
