About Me:

I have been married for 15 yrs and have to daughters. Melanie is 12 and Erika is 8. We are all big animal lovers.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We have a newfoundland/standard poodle....newfiepoo. Her name is Midnight and she turned 2 on april 1. She is a very comical and smart dog. When she was a pup she was very naughty and got into lots of trouble but we love her very much. We also have 2 turtles. Freddie is a painted turtle who we have had for 7 yrs now and was rescued by my father in law as a hatchling from a construction site that wiped out his entire family, he was the only survivor. Gomer is a mississippi mud turtle that we got from my daughters elementary school because they could not keep him there anymore due to no more room.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I have always wanted a newfoundland but I did not want the fur problem. I had a rottweiler mix for 14 years and I was so done with the shedding and hair everywhere. My daughters and I also have bad allergies. Our newfiepoo does not shed and is wonderful.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We love playing with her because she is hilarious! She is a character!
