What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have doods. Kahlua, a female, blond, standard goldendoodle born in 2003 & Bodhi, a male, red, minature goldendoodle born in 2007. Both were adopted from Amy Lane at Fox Creek Farms.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: hypo-allergenic, plus you get the poodle smarts with the "I love everyone" Golden personality

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Pat their fluffy heads & look into their eyes when I talk to them

At 8:13am on May 13, 2009, Karen L Semmelman said…: Thanks for the thoughts. Actually, I got a no bite collar about 3 weeks into this ordeal and he still needs to wear it when he is unsupervised. He was also scooting along the floor but we think it was becasue he ended up with a yeast infection from all the antibiotics, thus giving him probiotics to offset the impact. That seemed to work with the scootching. We also know he was allergic to his food per the dermatologist and since we switched to venison and potato diet he is much better with no scootching, but he still licks given the chance like it is really itching him This poor guys, none of the vets so far can figure out what is causing him to lick it so we are in the process of trying to sort it out by elimination. We have the steroid spray, he was on antibiotics for almost 3 months now for a variety of problems and I think we have solved most of his issues except this one. thanks again for your thoughts.
