You are the best!! Can't wait to see the pics!!
You can't really tell about the size from puppy to adult. My female lab was the biggest in her litter and she is still a horse at 95 pounds!!! But sometimes the runt of the litter can get way bigger than siblings too, so who knows! You can usually get a decent idea by the size of ears and feet compared to the other pups. I think it's more common for the smallest to stay small and the larger pups to get bigger though. Give them lots of kisses and enjoy that puppy breath!
Well shoot, I think it didn't send my last comment. I'll retry:
I'm glad the parents are both sweet dogs, I figured as much as Colleen seems to care about the babies she breeds. Yes! I would love to hear about your visit tomorrow. Let me know which 1-2 you are leaning towards after your visit tomorrow so I can mark him off my list, or if one is still left at our pick I will make sure to consider him! We are looking for a big, my husband says a fat belly, mellow boy. My labs are almost 7 and 11.5 and still playful for their age, but I think they would prefer a mellow guy if possible. If you take pics or video feel free to send to me at amy.engleman@yahoo.com
Well now I'm just jealous!!! Everyone in my extended family knows Thursday is puppy picture day. We look forward to that, I wish I could see them in person :) That's so nice that Colleen lets you all come out to visit. I agree, they are all adorable. My husband likes light blue and kelly green, I like royal blue and light green and my mom and sister like red. so I think we like ALL of them, lol I would love to hear more about your visit and their personalities! I don't think we can go wrong with any of them, but it's always nice to hear more about them since pictures only tell you so much.
We are pick #6, so hopefully you are only the second pick for a boy and there will be at least 2-3 left. I never asked as I know we will take a male or female, so not too worried. We live in Atlanta so I will be deciding our pick by pictures. I am flying up on the 20th and Colleen is meeting me with the puppy at the airport. Definitely easier for you!!
This will be our 3rd dog and our other 2 labs are 12 and 7, so I'm hoping to get a more mellow male (ha, ha, right). We prefer a male as our female, the 7 year old, is the alpha and I think should would get along better with a male. They are both sweet as can be though, so I think either would be fine. We are very excited as this will be our first doodle. Did you say you already have 3?!? I would love your feedback once you see the puppies in person. When are you going to see them?
I didn't get a reply :( We are leaning towards a boy, but will take either as we have a boy and a girl lab now and love both. Are you getting a puppy from this litter? Male or female?
