We are Green Gables doodle owners who love our dogs and they love us.

About Me:: As a "mature" couple we have bred dogs for many years. This was done on an elite basis with high quality Golden Retreiver bitches bred to Golden Retreiver champions. Our puppies were awesome and we enjoyed them so much. Carl became more and more allergic each time our puppies came. In January 2006 he informed me that we could not do it anymore as he was so sick all the time they were with us. Ouch! This was so hard. We began looking and on this adventure we found the Australian Labradoodle. Wow! What a dog!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have Australian Labradoodles. Our first doodle came to us from Rutland Manor in June 2006. She had been bred to Rutlands Kelby. Two weeks after landing in the USA, Rutlands Delilah delivered 11 gorgeous puppies in 4 1/2 hours. We kept two of her girls-Green Gables AnnaKate of RK aka Katie, and Green Gables DarbyAnne of RK aka Darby. We were blessed to have Chicago's Hershey Bar Kid aka Rigby or Rigs, to be a part of our family. We kept a girl from his and Katie's litter. She is our Cheerie Delight. Green Gables Cricket is another daugher of Del's and Hudson Midas. We dearly love our girls and boy.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Non-Shedding. Allergy Friendly and Temperament

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: We have a groomer come to our home or to our vet's office they go.
