Poor Harlow is feeling sorry for herself.  She turned 2 today and we didn't do anything special.  Baxter had to go to the vet because he managed to cut a pad and was limping.  Vet initially thought he may have broken a toe but thank heavens x-rays proved differently.  Then we had to take DD to the airport to catch an international flight.  And to top it all off, poor Harlow is under house arrest because she is in season.  I have promised her that we will would do something special next weekend… Continue

Last evening we said goodbye to Sherlock. Since Christmas his bad days were more often than his good and this week he started to decline rapidly. On Tuesday we made Sherlock’s final appointment with our vet. Amazingly he had a good day yesterday. So we decided to make a great day. It was a bit rainy but DD and I took him for a small walk.
