It's pretty amazing that it's been 5 weeks since we brought Floyd home. It's for sure gone by fast but at times it feels like it's been years. Overall I have gotten more sleep but I still have not been able to get my full 8 hours that I'm used to so I have begun getting used to feeling just slightly tired all of the time. We survived the first 2 weeks of having a puppy! It's been one of the most challenging times I have ever experienced in my recent history. Floyd is doing great though and learning fast. He has most of the basics down: Sit, Down, Come, Wait and a few others. He gets "Leave It" about 50% of the time without a treat right at his nose.
