I am just back from two nights away in London on business.  Riley is coming up to six months now so I was quite happy leaving him with my partner.  They met me at the airport and I was licked to death all the way home in the car.  I noticed that Riley smelt like he had just had a bath, so I asked the question.  I got a casual answer that Riley had rolled in silage (smelly old grass clippings) in the field yesterday and so Dad gave him a bath.  I am thinking did he rinse properly, did he groom,… Continue

I decided a while ago to forgo the puppy classes and wait until Riey was five months old to take him to obedience training classes.  The best one I found after extensive research is a 40 minute drive from home and with a 9am start I though ok, no problem since we normally start the day at 7am.  Plenty of time to have a little food and the required 15 minute walk as instructed by the course leader.
