2 weeks away from Remington!

This post is quite hard for me... because it goes to show just how soon this will all be happening. I get married in 17 days. For those of you that don't already know... I decide to do a destination wedding because I didn't want to deal with the pressure of a real wedding. We are getting married on Cocoa Beach and then leaving for our honeymoon right after the wedding. Feel free to visit my wedding website at http://momentville.com/DanAndKendra

Anyways, the thought of leaving… Continue

Be Aware of your Surroundings!!!

Well, this blog post is way off topic, but I think it is an important lesson for everyone so I decided to post it on here anyways... here is my story.

Saturday evening I had just gotten done working my second job as a cheer instructor. I had decided to run to Walmart to pick up a few things that I knew we would need for our honeymoon. I was standing in the travel stuff isle picking out small size shampoo, hair spray, etc... when this older woman approached me and… Continue

Puppies for Sale PDF Print E-mail

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups And set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the eyes of little boy.

"Mister," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."

"Well," said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, "These puppies come from fine parents… Continue

Oogy, an amazing Dog

When Oogy was four months old and weighed thirty five pounds he was tied to a stake and used as bait for a Pit Bull. The left side of his face from just behind his eye was torn off, including his ear. He was bitten so hard a piece of his jaw bone was crushed. Afterward, he was thrown into a cage and left to bleed to death.

I am not a religious man, but I can only conclude that at that moment God turned around and paid attention. The police raided the… Continue

I Am A Big Adult Rottweiler and I Should Not Cry

Written by Esther Berlanga-Ryan

Have you ever wondered what any of those dogs at the Humane Society are thinking? I know I have. His name, Reich. This could have been his story…

I am a big adult Rottweiler and I should not cry…but why am I here? I really cannot remember what I did wrong.

A few days ago they looked at me different, but I thought it was just their way of letting me know that life was… Continue

How Could You?

When I was a puppy I entertained you with my antics and made you laugh. You called me your child and despite a number of chewed shoes and a couple of murdered throw pillows, I became your best friend. Whenever I was 'bad,' you'd shake your finger at me and ask 'How could you?' - but then you'd relent and roll me over for a bellyrub.

My housetraining took a little longer than expected, because you were terribly busy, but we worked on that together. I remember those… Continue

Remington's New Tuffy Toys

I know that most of you are not as impressed with Tuffy Dog Toys as I am, but they are one of the only brands of toys I have found that hold up to Remington's chewing... that and the Skinnez! Anyways, we had to order him some more toys recently since the only ones he has left were the Tuffy Toys. The rest had to be thrown away to our dismay because he was eating through them. All that hard earned money spent on toys that only lasted him about a week... uhhggg! So once again we decide to spend a… Continue

Remington and his BIG Personality!

As many of you know, I'm not a big fan of dog parks because of a bad experience that Dan and I had there with Remington a while back. However, Dan still insists that we go because he says it's good for Remington and you can tell Remington loves it. Well, every time we go I always enter the fence with a bad feeling in my stomach that something is going to happen. Anyways, we went in the middle of the week this week and I found myself quite at ease while I watched my dog and his big personality… Continue
